Brookings Banter

3M Health Care Plant in Brookings is celebrating 35 years of growth with the region this weekend with a open house.  I say region because the 800 employees don't just live in Brookings.  The community needs to congratulate and thank this company for being an important part of a strong economy we enjoy. 

And it is a good time to reflect on the leadership of those individuals who worked to bring 3M to Brookings.  Because of their work Brookings isn't just a university town or an agricultural town.  Brookings has very balanced economy that has served us well.
