Brookings Banter

It is a big weekend for SDSU and Brookings.  Old and new is the theme.  The 19th President of the University will be installed.  The Inaugural will be the kick off for new leadership who promotes the old idea of a land grant university, improving our life through Education, Research, and Outreach.

The Football team faces an old NCC foe, University of Northern Iowa at a new level of competition, D-I.  The University's previous president , Peggy Miller, lead the transition to D-I athletics.  The transition is old news, under her leadership the school joined good conferences with new opportunities and is ready to compete at the D-I level.

This weekend festivities reflects where the University has been and is a celebration of the exciting times ahead.  Enjoy it Brookings.
